In 1984, when the Chappell Family started what is now InsureScan, they were offering a new type of product for the independent agency described as “Specialty Auto”. This provided a low-cost insurance product that offered protection for a more price conscious customer. As it turned out, InsureScan was a pioneer in Specialty Auto Insurance; a business that has become one of the most significant and competitive in today’s market environment.
Over thirty years later, we are proud to still be the carrier that provides a Specialty Auto Insurance product to consumers who need affordable auto insurance. Just as we did in 1984, We pride ourselves on delivering to our customers and we do that by hiring outstanding people. Our teams are comprised of diverse professionals who all participate in the effort to our common goal of properly serving our customers.
